Clare Josef-Maier
Campus Minister for Good soil
Clare is a Minister of Word & Service in the ELCA. Her training and prior practice as a mental health counselor with students specialized in gender/sexual identity, psycho-spiritual integration, and mindfulness-based skills. She now greatly enjoys sharing her passion for exploration and empowerment through campus ministry.

Wemimo Ayannubi

Christus House Resident director
Wemimo (Wemmy) is a recent graduate with a degree in Conflict and Dispute Resolution at the University of Oregon. A Certified Mediator, she is passionate about social and restorative justice and equity for all. She volunteers in a mediation program to ensure that people’s voices are heard, their emotions treated as valid, and all perspectives considered.

Kim Meyers
CHristus house FACILITY Volunteer
Kim is a member of Central Lutheran Church and historical supporter of Christus House. Her institutional knowledge from years of accompaniment and her profession as a CPA both contribute great gifts to her role here. She has two daughters, Kelly and Katie. She loves getting to know the students of the Christus House community!

Clare Van Hoven

Hearth & Table Lead Chef
Chef Clare, a former baking and pastry arts instructor for an employment training program, loves teaching others to bake, be confident in the kitchen, and learn the science behind baking. She approaches the kitchen in the words of Julia Child, “Learn how to cook — try new recipes, learn from your mistakes, be fearless, and, above all, have fun.” Outside of the kitchen, she love being creative and working on art and hanging out with her wife and their dog and cat.
